A Circular Wooden Fire Hut by Haugen Zohar Architects
Marissa Liu — December 18, 2009 — Art & Design
This huge outdoor fireplace by Haugen/Zohar Architects is more like a wooden tepee then a traditional fireplace. It is made of old wooden logs, layered in 80 circles. So, not only is it beautiful, it’s also eco-friendly.
While the design is surely stunning, don’t use pieces from the outdoor fireplace to keep the fire burning. The outdoor fireplace would be a great place to roast marshmallows and hot dogs and tell scary stories on cold winter nights.
