People living in flood zones or who love spending time on the water are definitely going to want to give the Otter Personal Disaster Backpack a look or two. Designed by Benson Lee, the Otter is an all-in-one storage and safety device designed for aquatic disasters
The Otter Personal Disaster Backpack has a waterproof container that is brightly colored and can float. The backpack gets its name from its life jacket function which requires the user to flip the backpack over onto their stomach in order to inflate it. The user then holds onto the backpack with their hands while the life jacket supports their head. Even though I don't live in a flood zone, I am totally digging this backpack. I think it would be a great tool for rescuers and for evacuees who are often looking to save more than just their lives.
