The exceptionally modern and super enhanced Onewheel skateboard has a singular wheel and runs on an electric 500 W direct drive motor.
The skateboard has clearly evolved from its chunky, wooden origins. With an electric motor in its one wheel (talk about compact design) controlling balance using "gyrometers, accelerometers and motion sensing algorithms," the Onewheel skateboard claims to give those riding the board the treat of flight-like senses when soaring over pavement.
