'OMRON Healthcare,' the Japanese health technology company, has debuted three new body composition monitors. These monitors are intended to weight-related metrics such as resting metabolism, body mass index, muscle mass percentage, body age, visceral fat level, and more. These measurements are collected automatically within a matter of seconds after the patient stands on the monitor.
Two of the monitors, the 'HBF-702T' and the 'HBF-255T' are comprehensive, meaning they measure all of these previously listed metrics automatically. The third monitor, the 'HN-300T2,' on the other hand, only measures body weight and body mass index, as it is a digital weight scale.
All of these composition-monitoring devices are managed by OMRON's mobile application, 'OMRON Connect.' With this application, users can view their health history over time, which helps with meeting weight loss goals. Detailed metrics like this are very effective at validating customers' efforts where normal scales do not, as weight loss often does not occur right away, whereas metabolic changes and other metric changes can occur much quicker.
