Nvidia Has Announced Another Large Round of Updates for Its 'Shield'

Nvidia has put out another Nvidia Shield update which will apply to all Shield devices, even the oldest models from 2015. This update moves the operating system of the Nvidia Shield to Android 11, which comes with a wide array of improved features. Nvidia has been diligent in supporting its Shield by putting out major updates annually. Due to this, even the original Nvidia Shield which ran Android 5 is still compatible with modern devices.
The TV streaming device will now work primarily with Gboard from Google, which is more accessible to impaired users due to its variety of accessibility features. The device's subscription service, GeForce Now, has also received various improvements including the ability to stream video and game content in 4K directly to a TV for the price of $198 annually.
