Norm Architects works in collaboration with Ancher Studio on the new No. 16 Collection of ceramic products. The capsule celebrates the ancient material with products that are understated and modern all at once. It is defined by strong shapes and finished with a beautiful glaze with charcoal speckles for some textures. The No. 16 Collection is inspired by Japanese design.
The architect and partner at Norm Architects, Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen shares, “The collection is designed as part of a larger restoration and interior design project, reviving an old neoclassical guesthouse on the north coast of Denmark. The ceramic collection plays a part in a holistic design process, where everything from architecture to interior, furniture, dinnerware and even scent was designed bespoke for the project."
