Two new Nike Huarache designs have been introduced that honor the progressive and forward-looking nature of previous Huarache offerings.
The new Nike Huarache shoes -- the Air Flight Huarache and Air Huarache Trainer -- combine the functionality of South American huarache sandals and the fit of neoprene waterski boots. These shoes being introduced 23 years after the debut of the iconic Nike Air Huarache, which was designed by legendary designers Tinker Hatfield and Eric Avar to provide a superior fit over other shoes of its time.
The Nike Air Flight Huarache will be available beginning August 7 on Nike's website and at select retailers. The Nike Air Trainer Huarache meanwhile will be available beginning September 26.
The shoes utilize an exoskeleton-innersleeve combination. They also feature a mesh trap for added ventilation and performance.
