The New Nike Air Foamposite Doernbecher sneaker is special for two reasons: 1) the foamposite is a legendary sell-out sneaker, and 2) all proceeds go directly to the Doernbecher hospital in Portland Oregon.
The Nike Air Foamposite follows suit on other Doernbecher releases in the past (and present—see the new Jordan Doernbecher 10) by allowing a patient of the Doernbecher hospital to design the sneaker, then upon release use the proceeds for the hospital itself. Nike has been a major part of this charity movement with the DB hospital particularly because its headquarters are located in Portland, and this is a fantastic cause. This particular colorway features a black and red upper alongside the classic outsole and carbon fiber. The kicks come with a hangtag of the DB patient himself.
