The SA Photonics High-Resolution Cyborg Helmet is for the Military
References: saphotonics & saphotonics
SA Photonics developed this head-mounted High Resolution Night Vision System for the military. This cyborg-looking helmet allows users to have fewer blind spots, a wide field of vision and a better sense of perspective. This low-weight device is ejection-safe for aircraft and contains digital night vision image processing and recording.
The clever night vision headset was developed by the U.S. Army in collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory. It does seem very bulky, so it may only be used inside aircraft instead of on the ground. Although its main purpose is to be used for the military, the helmet could even be used as a cyborg costume.
