The next-gen Xbox is titled Project Scarlett by the company and is said to be four times as powerful as the previous model. Microsoft has indicated that its next-gen Xbox will feature a design with improved frame rates and faster loading times. The information comes from the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer. Spencer also stated that the design will focus on improving consistency, this means that the system will load faster and run at a higher frame rate.
Backward compatibility features will also be included in the design. Spencer indicated that all of the four generations of content on the platform will be able to run on the console. This means that all content from the Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One will work on the new model.
