At a hardware event, Google recently unveiled a new voice recorder app that will be available for Android devices. The voice recorder app will be able to use real-time speech processing, as well as speech recognition and live transcription capabilities. The Recorder app for Android devices will also allow users to access voice recording features, even when they are away from a mobile network.
Sabrina Ellis, the Google VP of Product Management, spoke on the new Recorder app's capabilities, “This means you can transcribe meetings, lectures, interviews, or anything you want to save,”.
The app also has advanced search functions, where users can search for individual sounds or words. Within a search, each time a word or sound was said will be shown to the user.
