To provide consumers with a new smart speaker option that's better suited to those who primarily use their device to play music, Google developed the 'Nest Audio.'
The smart speaker is 75 percent louder than the original Google Home, and also offers a bass that's 50 percent stronger—making for a more immersive listening experience. Nest Audio also comes with a woofer, tweeter, and tuning software, providing a clean and clear sound quality that carries throughout the room. Just like the Google Home, Nest Audio can be used to control a smart home, as consumers can choose to connect their lights, TVs, and other devices to it. The same applies to the smart speaker's music capabilities, which can also be controlled with the brand's "Hey Google" voice activations. Should they wish to connect multiple devices for a fuller sound, consumers can easily do so by pairing two or more speakers with one another. Google also offers a discount if consumers choose to purchase two speakers at a time, knocking $25 off the overall cost.
The Nest Audio boasts an affordable price for the quality of sound that it supplies at just $130 CAD, and is available in five colorways: Chalk, Charcoal, Sage, Sand, and Sky.
