Jumbo Introduces The Curvaceous Neotonic Collection of Lights and Chairs
Amy Duong — June 20, 2018 — Art & Design
Jumbo is a New York-based design studio and it unveils its latest Neotonic collection comprised of a chair and three matching lamps. All of the pieces are constructed with steel tubes, boasting an overall curvaceous aesthetic translated through the chair's form and lamp's foundation. The four-piece series made its debut last month at the NYCxDesign festival.
The tubular chair boasts a dark purple tone with alloy frames finished in an auto urethane paint job to give it a glossy look, representing lacquer. It features two tubular components -- a U-structured piece as the back legs and a more angular piece as the backrest and the front legs. The lights include a table lamp, a piece designed to rest on the ground and a wall light.
