Designers Tiziano Guardini and Luigi Ciuffreda from Guardini Ciuffreda Studio created the Narinari chair for B&B Italia. The bespoke structure nods to the double-rounded French cuff in the form of a chair as it is presented with origami-like folds that form a seat. The surfaces create volumes that carefully hold negative space and provide a comforting embrace for users. The upholstery is also impressive as it is tempered by a modern material palette.
The creatives speak about the Narinari chair, stating “… A majestic ballet between two worlds. This duality, this ability to live and master two such different elements, captivated and guided us in designing the armchair. The Narinari armchair reflects these qualities, combining strength and delicacy in a single enveloping form.”
