MYKITA and Helmut Lang Launches a Capsule of Sunglasses
MYKITA and Helmut Lang work in collaboration to unveil a joint capsule of eyewear designs that take the wraparound sunshield model to new heights. The capsule is made up of two styles specifically, the HL001 and the HL002, which take inspiration from the look of deconstructed eyewear.
The familiar wraparound sunshield is broken up into four sections with contrasting lens throughout. There are hues such as neon pink and yellow that are seen from Helmut Lang's SS20 series. The HL001 has a double bridge and a straight line at the top for an angular structure and a stark look. The HL002 is designed in contrast with more fluidity in the structural design backed up by the curvilinear shape inspired by aviators.
