The street artist known as My Dog Sighs creates stunning portraits made out of litter that he finds on the streets. He predominantly uses crushed cans that he covers in a coat of grey paint as a starting base, and then proceeds to create the detailed faces.
Each piece has a life of its own and is incredibly surreal. What makes his works so great is that he is using up-cycled materials that would have otherwise gone to waste. These distinctive pieces prove that it is possible to recycle, reduce and reuse, even when it comes to artwork. In fact, this would be a great do-it-yourself project that is also ideal for children. My Dog Sighs is sending a message that garbage does not belong on the streets.
