This music pop-up — located in Kim Sing Theater in Los Angeles’ Chinatown, gave individuals the opportunity to test out Moog's synthesizers. The temporary store location was an incredibly immersive experience as it allowed anyone from the street to enter and play around with the product. Among the showcased items was a "newly released and extremely limited" synthesizer that goes by the name of 'Sirin, the Analog Messenger Of Joy.'
The colorful music pop-up was marketed under the name 'The Moog House of Electronicus' which is a clever nod to the temporary shop's inspiration. As the concept for a music pop-up was developing, the creatives i charge looked toward 'the Moog Island of Electronicus — "an experimental gathering that took place on the barrier island of Tierre Verde during the 1970s."
