Japanese automotive giant Mitsubishi has gone ahead and launched the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that will well and truly appeal to people in the market for a hybrid SUV that offers quality performance in a stylish format.
The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a premium hybrid SUV that is outfitted with a high-tech lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of just over 60 km on a full charge. When hybrid mode is harnessed, that range can be extended to around 675 km. As far as charging goes, the specifics depend on which model is selected, with the most high-end variant more than capable of taking advantage of DC rapid charging in conjunction with CHAdeMO plug compatibility.
As far as its exterior aesthetic is concerned, Mitsubishi touts the 2023 Outlander PHEV for "muscular proportions, with horizontal and accents and chiseled lines," which the automaker notes helps to project "an image of confidence with a dash of dramatic flair."
