An odd trio of artists have come together to bring us quite the creative invention.
Prolific Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, hip-hop Producer Pharrell Williams and Jewelry Connoisseur Jacobs have collaborated on the diamond studded monster sculpture.
The participation is as follows: Murakami designed and built the original sculpture of the creature, Williams collected an array of his favourite items (Doritos, a condom, ice cream sneakers, a Pepsi can and a cupcake) and Jacobs encrusted them with precious stones and metals.
The finished product? A very abstract, but eye-grabbing, sculpture that would be a true experience to see with your own eyes.
It is currently on display at the booth of Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin at Art Basel.
