The MPOWERD Luci Aura Launched at CES 2014
Ashley Noelle Lesiak — January 11, 2014 — Art & Design
The MPOWERD Luci Aura sets any mood with changing colors. Just now unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014, this is actually a more high-end upgrade to last year’s model. Last year the goal of the Luci was to provide sustainable light for people in parts of the world where the energy isn’t reliable.
Unexpectedly, the social-minded light became a big hit with consumers. This prompted the makers to create one that is more about setting the mood and looking cool than providing light for the poor. Some of the changes in the MPOWERD Luci Aura are the ability to change colors and new frosted pane so the light isn’t too bright. It also has the ability to last for up to twelve hours and it is rechargeable.
