Mortars and pestles have long been used to crush herbs to make pharmaceutical concoctions and the ones designed by Bambu Studio have a more modern twist.
Called the 'Pill Mortar and Pestle,' the device's design was led by Javier Moreno and was created through a process that is anything but traditional -- through 3D-printing. The object is made from porcelain and is either matte black or white in color. Its sleek finish and modernized design offer a fresh twist on an object that had more use in history than it does now.
