Arnold & Son is debuting two new moon-inspired watch designs as part of its Perpetual Moon 38 collection. These timepieces showcase a refined approach to moon phase complications and high-end materials. The two variations include a blue aventurine glass dial limited to 88 pieces and a sunray brushed grey dial with a limited run of 28 pieces.
The Perpetual Moon 38 timepieces are designed with a 38 mm red gold case, featuring a polished bezel, lugs, and crown. The blue aventurine dial is adorned with metallic particles that create a starry effect, while the grey dial exhibits a moiré effect under a matte blue sky. Both dials are framed with a mother-of-pearl moon phase disc and constellations.
A notable feature is the new A&S1612 caliber, specifically developed for this collection. This hand-wound movement, one of the smallest in Arnold & Son’s lineup, offers up to 90 hours of power reserve and boasts a moon phase accuracy of 122 years, meaning it will only diverge by one day from the actual moon cycle after more than a century.
