There is something truly special about the Anita Lamp, which is essentially a modern rotating light fixture. Yet that description doesn't do the design of the furniture piece any justice. Light and curvaceous, minimalist and contemporary, it brings a subtle sculptural touch to homes in a way that is as practical as it is stylish.
Designed by Nicola Conti, an industrial designer based in Pesaro, Italy, the modern rotating light is made out of two of three materials: opaque metal, pink fabric and shiny metal. Although a floor lamp first and foremost, it also boasts a small side table that turns it into the perfect companion for nights spent inside reading or simply curling up with a hot cup of tea. It will be hard not to want to spend time with it.
