Matt Buckley is the designer behind these breath-taking sculptures, which portray animals in a modern art style. These striking artworks are made from clay. They’re sculpted, cast, sanded and painted by Buckley and other ‘Edge Sculpture’ employees.
Among Buckley’s sculptures there are gorillas, penguins, elephants, snakes and even dragons. These wild animal sculptures are fairly detailed, but some also seem to have intriguing patterns or designs within them. The cat sculpture (for example) seems to have a number of swirling lines worked into its body. The elephant’s rough, dry skin actually looks like cracking stone. These modern elements add extra interest to Buckley’s creative clay pieces.
These sculptures are sure to become the focal point of any room they end up in.
