Target Uses Holographic Models
jelalyn — November 6, 2007 — Art & Design
Target has announced they will host a completely model-less fashion show in Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Instead of human models parading down the catwalk in real clothes, Target will present a live fashion show created with high-definition holograms.
The revolutionary fashion show will feature collections from Bowie by Keanan Duffty for Target, Erin Fetherston for Target, Isaac Mizrahi for Target, Liz Lange for Target, and Mossimo for Target. Jewelry, handbags, and shoes from Dominique Cohen for Target and Hollywould for Target will also be showcased in the 3-D show.
Target's event will happen on November 6, repeated every 10 minutes from noon to midnight and on November 7 from 6am to 7pm. Target is also set to post a video of the show on You Tube, Facebook and on its own website.
