Kia Corporation and LG Electronics have formed a strategic partnership to develop innovative mobility solutions through Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle technology. The collaboration is introducing two concept models designed for professional and recreational use.
The new mobility solutions integrate LG’s AI-driven home appliances into Kia’s modular vehicle platform. In doing so, the brands are capable of co-creating adaptable spaces that can function as mobile offices, lounges, or outdoor leisure hubs. The PV5 Spielraum Studio concept targets freelancers and remote workers with built-in smart appliances like modular stylers and coffee machines, while the PV5 Spielraum Glow cabin concept caters to outdoor enthusiasts with features such as refrigerators, lightwave ovens, and customizable ambient lighting. These concepts are expected to launch in late 2026.
