Nvidia Powers the Electric Robot Tractors with AI Chip Systems

Electric smart tractor company Monarch Tractor unveils its new MK-V using the new Nvidia's Jerson edge AI platform. It is developed to help perform agricultural tasks with or without a human driver running the vehicle. CEO of Monarch Tractor Praveen Penmetsa states, “The NVIDIA Jetson enables the MK-V to run low-latency, real-time AI applications while at the same time conserving energy for longer battery life and extended run time.”
Every single MK-V device uses six of the Jetson Xavier NX system-on-module that initiate the devices to navigate the fields through the cameras. According to the two brands, "The tractor collects and analyzes crop data daily and can process data from current and next-generation implements equipped with sensors and imaging. This data can be used for real-time implement adjustments, long-term yield estimates, current growth stages, and other plant and crop health metrics."
