Spotify Rolls Out the Miniplayer for Desktop Platforms
Spotify finally started to roll out the Miniplayer, which is a feature that has been a highly requested factor for years now. It is only available on the desktop app, allowing users to have quick playback access while engaging with other projects on the device. The floating window can be resized as users please with additional controls of the audio that is playing.
This includes changing the song, selecting playlists to play, and altering the volume. Spotify notes that the feature has already started rolling out to the Premium subscribers. Once it is available, users are to launch the Desktop Miniplayer by clicking on a square located on the lower right side of the app by the right of the standard playback controls.
