Originally designed by Dieter Rams in 1962, the minimalist side tables have been relaunched by furniture company Vitsoe in a completely re-engineered way. Dubbed the 'there-when-needed' table, it can also placed by the bedside or even used as a full-out coffee table. The latter is achieved when two or more are combined. The minimalist side tables can even be flipped on its side to act as an attachment to a couch.
