The Brick Lamp is a minimalist lamp that is devoid of all the usual lamp elements such as switches, shades and wires.
This lamp has a unique On/Off mechanism. When it is lifted up on its side or placed on its back, the light is switched on. The light is extinguished when it's placed on its front. The weight is evenly distributed, making it possible for the lamp to stand upright without toppling.
The Brick Lamp aims to re-jig the way people think about light and their relationship with it. We've all gotten used to simply flicking a switch and having access to as much light as we need. The Brick Lamp aims to make the experience more tactile and meaningful.
