Mini Power is the apt name for a disposable cardboard battery made specifically for smartphones. Likened to a vitamin for such devices by Fast Co Design, Mini Power comes in capsules that can be ripped off and 'ingested' when a little more juice is needed throughout the day. Although some people will argue that it doesn't take much to carry around a charger, these are perfect for those emergencies when there are no outlets around.
Designed by Tsung Chih-Hsien, Mini Power is a Red Dot Design Award-winning concept made out of cardboard, which is perfect for eco-conscious individuals. It comes in three increments (two, four and six hours) and is meant to be sold in places like conveniences stores and other wayward stops.
