The heritage jewelry label Mikimoto is branching into perfume having just released its first scent. This new offering arrives on the heels of a collaboration with Commes Des Garcon, in which the two labels released a range of pearl necklaces.
The perfume has been dubbed Mikimoto Eau de Parfum, and draws inspiration from the cool sea breeze. The gender neutral scent aims to embody the brand's ethos of coexisting with nature, and offers notes of citrus, grapefruit, orange bigarade, lemon and bergamot. Hints of saffron and sandalwood are also included in the mix, providing a warm and elegant scent profile that's ideal for the upcoming fall season.
The scent's bottle is equally beautiful and was created by industrial designer Lance McGregor.
