Researchers at the University of Houston have developed an incredibly microscope lens that can be fitted onto pretty much any smartphone. This lens has the ability to magnify images to up to 120 times their original size. Incredibly, each lens costs about three cents to produce.
This lens functions using a stick-on mechanism that makes it incredibly easy to install and use. The lens can be attached without any extra supporting mechanisms or attachments. At the same time, the adhesion between the lens and the smartphone glass isn't permanent and can easily be detached.
