California-based xMEMS Labs has gone ahead full steam with the launch of a high-tech micro speaker that is designed to be incorporated into open-fit earphones with the goal of providing exceptionally clear and enriching sound despite its utterly diminutive stature.
The 'Sycamore' micro speaker module weighs in at a barely noticeable 150 milligrams, which is perhaps unsurprising when you consider that this speaker's dimensions measure in at 8.4 x 9 x .11 millimeters.
