BDA Architects is behind the 'Miami Hills Residence,' a beautiful contemporary home located on a sloped plot of land in the Brakes Crescent neighborhood of Australia's Gold Coast.
The architects artfully navigated the site's challenges, using a system of simple frames and overlapped walls to circumvent the slope and offer the most of the gorgeous views. Gazing at the home head-on, you might think it's square or rectangular in shape. It is only when you circle to the rear of the property that you understand the design is staggered and elongated.
Inside, the Miami Hills Residence features a modern aesthetic that's further accentuated by a spiral staircase that works its way throughout each level of the home, culminating at the roof.
