The 'Medium' App Lets You Read Articles on Medium's Blogging Platform

Blog publishing platform ‘Medium’ released an iPhone app that lets people read, recommend and share interesting stories.
Medium is a place for people to post written work using an elegant and visually appealing publishing platform, without having to start their own blog and build up an independent audience. The app is focused on helping Medium users read and share content, and cannot be used to actually write articles—although that feature is expected to be introduced eventually.
The app requires you to sign in with Twitter, which is not so surprising given that Medium was founded by Twitter co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone. Once signed in, Medium offers a list of stories based on popularity and your personal preferences. It often estimates how long it will take you to read each story.
“Every week, thousands of people come to Medium to write,” said company founder Ev Williams. “That’s the hard part. We’re just helping amplify their voices.”
