I prayed this day would come and it has! There is finally a waterproof laptop which I assume is also cat fur- and food-proof as well. Sadly it is not a super laptop in terms of performance, so I don't think I will be lining up to buy one any time soon.
Called the Let's Note F8, it was unveiled recently by Matsushita Electric Industrial in Tokyo and will going on sale next month.
"A handle, like one for a briefcase, was attached to the body to improve the portability of the laptop, which, with a 14.1-inch LCD panel and a weight of about 1,630g (including a battery), otherwise does not seem to be very portable," Tech On explains.
Personally, I think I will stick with my Mac Cook Pro, and continue to deal with the peskiness of cat fur and spill dodging.
