The Masu Serving Board's Cantilevered Design Looks Like Its Floating
Meghan Young — May 6, 2013 — Art & Design
The Masu Serving Board is minimalist and modern dishware that is perfect for sushi and sashimi meals, but can also be used as a platter for cheese, bread and oil. At first it may look like a slimmer cutting board, but upon closer inspection, it is clear that there are specific details that lend it to a higher purpose.
For instance, on one end of the Masu Serving Board there is a small seamless basin that is perfect for soy sauce or even a combination of vinegar and oil. Not to mention that the Masu Serving Board has a cantilevered design that makes it appear as though it were floating.
Designed by David E. Scott, the Masu Serving Board is made out of white acrylic.
