As simple as the Mass Light may seem at first, it is actually made out of some very luxurious materials. Melding old world opulence with modern minimalism, the Mass Light boasts a stunning marble base and white glass orb.
Designed by Copenhagen-based firm Norm Architects for Dutch furniture manufacture '&Tradition,' the Mass Light would complement just about any living space. Great for eclectic family homes or stark bachelor apartments, the Mass Light has an androgynous design. Inspired by international street lamps from Paris, Barcelona and New York, the Mass Light takes their traditional shape and makes it suitable for indoor use. Hung one at a time or clustered together, the pendent lamp is bold and strong. Nevertheless, its feminine curves soften the overall design. Its familiar shape allows people to focus on the marble.
