adidas x Marimekko Brings a Range of Colorful Activewear
Marimekko is revisiting its collaboration with adidas for a new limited edition capsule of activewear. The collection fuses the work of Finnish designers Maija Isola and Annika Rimala with adidas’ activewear technology for a range of colorfully printed apparel. The collection focuses on multiple workout-ready silhouettes, including the ‘Gabriel’ which is designed for running, the ‘Jenkka’ and ‘Tundra’ for training, and a standout ‘adidas x Marimekko UltraBOOST 22’ sneaker.
Another unique addition to the collection is a sports hijab that comes in a blue-grey colorway, making fitness apparel accessible for a wider range of consumers. The range is also crafted with recycled materials as a part of adidas’ sustainability pledge to “End Plastic Waste.”
The adidas x Marimekko collection is available now on adidas’ website.
