Margaret Howell and ISOKON Reissue Marcel Lajos Breuer's Work
British designer Margaret Howell works in collaboration with London-based design studio ISOKON to reissue modern furniture by Marcel Lajos Breuer. The joint reprints are set to launch in November and can be found at Margaret Howell locations. Marcel Lajos Breuer was a Hungarian-German architect who passed away in 1981, and now the team honors his legacy by remastering the historic items.
The new reissued looks include tables that are handmade from birch plywood in East London. It features angular legs at the supportive base foundation and has a curved top that holds up collaborative branding in the form of two sizes. It follows with a bookstand that has compartments facing one another with the addition of rectangular shelving.
