Belgium-based design firm Objetto has created this minimalist marble tray that serves multiple functions. The tray is a beautiful piece of decor that provides a sophisticated touch to indoor living spaces. Its creamy marble-gray color allows it to blend into any space regardless of the theme.
The marble tray has the versatility to be a serving platter in the kitchen or during an elegant dinner party. It can also be a storage plate in the kitchen to hold oils and spices used in daily recipes. In addition, it can also pose as a bathroom accessory to hold jewelry or bath products like soaps.
The rectangular tray was designed by Hector Alvarado. He used a carving technique to produce the smooth and elegant final product. Alvarado slowly hand-sanded each edge and created a small circular indent at one end of the tray.
