This is another great series from photographer Jan von Holleben. Featured above is his “Mutatis Mutandis” collection.
This series of photos brings three separate elements together in one photograph: humans in animalistic poses, an animal and a natural or urban background. Amalgamating these three parts creates an interesting commentary between man, animal (or “manimals”) and their environment and the bond that they all have to each other.
Jan von Holleben expresses his interest in environment in some of his other collections such as “Where We Laughed.” Be sure to check it out as well!
