Last week I saw Steffi Kalina’s excellent pieces at the Inhorgenta jewelry and watch fair in Munich. I was impressed by the beauty of her ‘Nanas China’ pieces made with old porcelain. Each piece is unique, and Kalina gives them all an unbelievable touch.
Kalina selects old porcelain and then cuts and sets it by hand. Her selection of butterflies, insects and flowers for the jewelry pieces is so well done that the whole collection has a mystic touch. Aesthetically-pleasing recycling and elegant jewelry design at its best.
