Kicking it into overdrive, the Recycled Auto Parts Chess set was done by Armando Ramierez. Each piece is a small sculpture made from reclaimed auto parts; for example, the bishop's heads are spark plugs. The pieces retain the rusty look for authenticity. Many of the pieces are mainly gears which don't necessarily make this a chess set exclusive to auto parts. There are enough parts in the modern engine to make a really awesome chess set, but this isn't a bad start.
