Nicole McLaughlin Designs her Own Diemme Maggiore Shoe
Nicole McLaughlin works in collaboration with Diemme on new utilitarian footwear in the form of the Maggiore for the season. She continues to grow her upcycling design approach with the latest shoe and the shoe has one base and three detachable uppers.
The hidden layer starts with a soft suede mule detailed with wavy patterns throughout. Tonal zippers are then seen along the mudguards and travel to the medial side of the shoe to allow the upper half to be attached. The joint capsule comes in colorway options of beige, blue, and green materials. It is made from waterproof ripstop materials that can be removed entirely. Notably, it is able to transform into functional bags with metallic clasps and toggles.
