The McMullen & Wing luxury explorer yacht 'Big Fish,' is the first of two luxury yachts to come from New Zealand, made to redefine the category of explorer yachts. Designed by Gregory C. Marshall, this particular design was made to withstand 9,200 nautical miles at 8 knots.
This 147 ft. luxury explorer yacht, 'Big Fish,' is more loaded than your typical luxury super-yacht. With the world’s first ever granite decks, to full-height windows with "transformer" swim platforms, to eco-tailored material and a 4-story high video wall, 'Big Fish' is more "glitz n’ glam" when it comes to its interior design.
Moreover, with 5 staterooms meticulously designed with a bank of windows infused to provide the guest with natural lighting, only to be set off with aesthetically tasteful décor, this luxury expedition yacht is sure to have you feeling like a rock star as you sail the open seas.
In July, it began a one-year trek from Tahiti to the Antarctic, to other remote places like the Upper Amazon basin to the Arctic Circle. This explorer yacht will begin yet another expedition next summer as it will be the first yacht to ever attempt the trek across the Northeast Passage above Russia.
