Vikenty Gryaznov is a freelance designer from Russia who is interested in watches, jewelry, furniture and cars. He teamed up with the famed watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin to create an incredible watch for the Baselworld 2011 design show called the Lunokhod timepiece. Gryaznov was in charge of the design, while Chaykin manufactured the watch.
The Lunokhod timepiece looks simply stunning and unlike any other watch I have ever seen. It looks very futuristic and spacey, like something that you might see a stylish character in Star Wars wearing. It is made out of Wootz steel. The designers say that the appearance of the Lunokhod timepiece reminds them of the moon's surface.
