Australian start-up Rewardle has recently announced that it will be making its loyalty card app available for Android's smartwatch devices.
This digital customer program aims "to increase consumer engagement and to give marketers a new channel where they can reach consumers and collect their data."
Rewardle connects with a range of local merchants in food, hospitality and beauty industries and can be used in cafes, restaurants, hair salons and gyms.
While the loyalty card app was previously compatible with tablet and smartphone devices, it is now available for Android's smartwatches. In addition to these wearable tech devices, the company is setting their sights on Google Glass and is in plans of creating a version of Rewardle that's compatible with the tech eyewear products.
