Japanese designer Nao Iwamatsu designs the new LOTUS lighting series, which is a trio of illumination that is on display at SaloneSatellite for Milan Design Week this year. The designer is based in Japan and is inspired by the design themes of handmade objects.
The first of the set of the LOTUS, which is a lighting that is made up of modern LED lights. It is based on two different foundations and is illuminated by two different light sources. Overall, it creates a flexible structure that flickers light similar to the look of flames. The second of the trio of FLIGHT which is inspired by the blinking red aviation lights in Tokyo. The third and last is the RIM light, made up of a floor lamp, pendant lamp, and table lamp.
